As co-leader of the Knapp-Stahler Group, Marcus & Millichap’s top-producing seniors housing investment sales team, Nick advises a national client base that includes public REITs, private equity firms, institutional capital, developers, and leading owner-operators. His experience spans the full continuum of care, including active adult, independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, behavioral health, and CCRCs. What differentiates Nick is his operator-informed perspective. Prior to brokerage, he served as a licensed assisted living administrator, providing firsthand experience in community operations, regulatory dynamics, and resident care delivery. This background, combined with deep capital markets expertise, allows him to identify value drivers, mitigate risk, and structure solutions that align operational realities with investment objectives.
Based in Southern California, Nick oversees West Coast operations for the Knapp-Stahler Group. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from California State University, Fullerton, where he was an early enrollee in the Business Honors Program and a six-time Dean’s List honoree.
